A wonderful reader’s poem… read on and enjoy the moment.
I ‘d like to find a flower
It wouldn’t be any flower
but one no one has seen before
so I roam a lot in a sea of fields
The poppies distinguished like blood drops
The daisies open like an endless invitation
to ask whether you are loved.
Their petals open to the dew.
Their leaves frail
And the forget me not flowers
blue, mystical
I move on through them
looking for my flower through the Spring grass
and when I find it
I won’t cut it to make it my own
I ‘ll stay for a while, admire
and then leave having seen something beautiful
locked in my heart
like a protective amulet.
